Guru Hub 1 & Hub 2 approved meter list
Guru Hub 1 and Hub 2 manage and monitor up to 5 utilities. by directly connecting to wired mbus meters. It can also control up to 3 external control devices, such as shut-off valves.
Hub 1 details: M-Bus - 1 input with up to 5 meters. Pulse - 1 input.
Hub 2 details: M-Bus - 1 input with up to 5 meters. Pulse - 1 input. PT1000 - 1 input.
Relay outputs - See the installation guide for more information. Find out more about the Guru Hub 2 on our website. Or click here to download our brochure.

Pulse Meters
- Most pulse meters are accepted by the Hub, if however there is an abnormal length of the pulse signal then this can cause misreads due to how the pulse is supposed to work.
- In order to add a pulse meter, you will need to insert the pulse rate per unit after the pulse addressing. e.g. pulse/0/100 for 100 pulses per unit.
- A pulse signal length can be determined by holding a multimeter on its continuity setting and then attaching the wires from the meter and running consumption through the meter, this will give an audible noise when the pulse contact is made.
- It is highly recommended that the pulse cable be no longer than 15 meters due to voltage drop over the length of a cable.
If the meter you wish to use is not listed above, then please email support@gurusystems.com to discuss how we can test this for you.
